The tape said wait; the Packers did not. Trevin Wallace went at pick No. 126, a good 107 picks before the board was ready.

Williams at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
