B-
Chicago Bears
More right than wrong for the Bears, and a B- to prove it.

· 5 picks
· 1 steals
· 2 reaches
The Bears went off the board in a big way for Caleb Douglas, 36 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.
A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Thieneman.
In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 25th overall pick they get a downhill thumper at linebacker at fair value. A clean fit for the roster.
Dillon Thieneman slipping to No. 43 is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
They paid up for Jacob Rodriguez at the Round 2 slot when waiting would have done the job. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Logan Jones at the 89th pick is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Caleb Douglas at Round 4, Pick 29 is an overdraft of the loud, memorable kind. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
