There is a lot to like until you notice cornerback is still a hole. The Bengals never got to the one that mattered most. No fireworks, but a solid B-.
The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.

In No. 10 they get a building block for the line. A clean fit for the roster.
R Mason Thomas in Round 2, Pick 9 lands just on the right side of the ledger. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
