You build a draft on nights like this. Caedan Wallace had no business being available in the 169th pick, and the Packers did the only sane thing and turned in the card.

Sundell has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. It is not that Oladapo is a bad player; it is that the Packers had louder needs to answer first.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. Job largely done: running back settled and 2 of 8 of the wish list covered.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
