The Dolphins spent real capital to be 36 picks early on Mohamed Kamara, and the board is going to hold them to it.
The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 29th pick they get an anchor for the offensive line at fair value.
They took Zach Frazier at par in slot 55, which is nothing to complain about. It fills a real need, too.
Value said wait; Mohamed Kamara in the Round 3 slot says they were not listening. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Kitan Oladapo at No. 123 is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
A real head-scratcher, Khristian Boyd in pick 157 is miles ahead of his ranking. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
A reach on Tahj Washington in Round 6, Pick 8; the board had better options right there. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Jared Wiley in pick 197 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
They paid up for Edefuan Ulofoshio at Round 7, Pick 21 when waiting would have done the job. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
