When the story of this class is written, it opens with Tahj Washington at pick 242, a reach of 103 spots that the board flatly disagrees with. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.
A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 3 of 8 of the wish list covered. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
Pick-by-Pick
In slot 21 they get juice off the edge, even if it was a touch early. Exactly the need they had to hit.
A conviction pick on Adisa Isaac at the 53rd overall pick that the board grades a round light. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Value said wait; Jordan Jefferson in Round 5, Pick 22 says they were not listening. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
