Every other box got a look, but quarterback did not. The Chargers will head to camp with the same hole they walked in with. More right than wrong, and a B to match.
Getting Sinnott where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. Every board in the league had Cole lower, and that gap is the story. They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 5th pick they get a matchup problem out wide. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Ennis Rakestraw Jr. at pick 37 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Fair-plus on Zach Frazier, a quiet win that adds up over a draft. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
