The rest of the league had time to spare on Tanner McLachlan; the Commanders did not wait, grabbing him 70 spots ahead at the Round 6 slot. There is no dressing it up: a F.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. Caleb Williams is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off.

They will regret leaving cornerback for another day if the season turns on it. Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers.
