The Packers torched the value chart for Frank Crum, taking him 38 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.
The Hadden steal is the beam this whole class leans on. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
Pick-by-Pick
Value with a capital V on Chop Robinson in pick No. 30, a genuine coup. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Cooper Beebe at No. 41 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Nice patience on T'Vondre Sweat, who had no business lasting to the 58th overall pick. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Payton Wilson in the Round 3 slot is a gift, value that borders on unfair. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
A reach on Cole Bishop in Round 3, Pick 28; the board had better options right there. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Beaux Limmer at the 93rd pick is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.

Malik Mustapha in the Round 5 slot is exactly on the number, no argument either way. A want more than a need, though you can never have too many.
They robbed the room for Kamal Hadden here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Jaylan Ford at No. 219. A want dressed up as a pick, at a spot they had covered.
Trevin Wallace in slot 245 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. Depth on depth, at a spot that was hardly crying out.
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Jalen Sundell in pick No. 255. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Frank Crum in Round 7, Pick 36 is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. The roster fit checks out.
They will replay Daijahn Anthony at the 257th pick for years; that is how good the value is. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
