The tape said wait; the Packers did not. Jowon Briggs went at No. 245, a good 26 picks before the board was ready. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Davis. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
