The one they had to fix is still broken. The Packers left cornerback untouched, and that omission hangs over an otherwise reasonable haul. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.
Griffith has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
Good work on the whole, with cornerback the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick No. 19 they get a problem off the edge at fair value. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Dani Dennis-Sutton in the 51st overall pick is exactly on the number, no argument either way. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
No edge and no loss on Oscar Delp in the Round 3 slot; it is a wash and a sensible one. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
By-the-book stuff, Dasan McCullough at the 115th pick squarely in line with his ranking. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Thor Griffith at slot 147 is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
They took Bru McCoy at par in pick 179, which is nothing to complain about. It fills a real need, too.
Kyle McCord at Round 7, Pick 19 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
