If you want a masterclass in dealing, watch the Packers, who turned every swap into a profit this weekend. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.
The Packers indulged a want in Kiser while a need in cornerback, quarterback and other spots stayed open. The cornerback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
Pick-by-Pick
In the Round 1 slot they get a rangy last line of defense. More want than need.
Tate Ratledge at No. 51 is a conviction pick that outran the value. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
A straight-up fair deal on Jay Higgins at the 83rd pick, value and slot in agreement. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Oscar Delp at slot 89 nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.

Jordan Burch at Round 7, Pick 19 jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
