When the story of this class is written, it opens with Dallas Gant at slot 255, a reach of 62 spots that the board flatly disagrees with.

Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
