The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Packers watched Danny Stutsman slide 74 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.
The Sheppard reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.
A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 23rd pick they get a seam-stretching tight end. A real need, handled.
Tyleik Williams at pick No. 54 is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Azareye'h Thomas at pick 87 is a conviction pick that outran the value. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Taking Jake Majors in Round 4, Pick 21 is close to grand larceny; an offensive lineman that good had no business lasting this long. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
