There is reaching, and then there is DJ Campbell at pick 150. The Cowboys jumped the board by 65 and dared it to prove them wrong.
The Mondon Jr. pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
The verdict is a shrug for now, with the swing picks left to write the real ending.
