The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Cobee Bryant, Round 7, Pick 20, roughly 59 picks past where he belonged. More right than wrong, and a B to match.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through tight end. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
Their trades came out a wash either way.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 30th overall pick they get juice off the edge at a price that makes it sweeter. A real need, handled.
Azareye'h Thomas at pick No. 61 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
By-the-book stuff, Donovan Jackson at slot 79 squarely in line with his ranking. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
