This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Danny Stutsman, the No. 86 name on the board, stolen at pick 105.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. On the needs board they went 2 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most. The back end got a real overhaul.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick No. 4 they get a sticky cover corner at fair value.
A quiet steal in pick 38: Mike Green for less than the market said. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Jayden Higgins in slot 69 is fair value, right on his grade. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Donovan Ezeiruaku at the 77th pick is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Danny Stutsman at the Round 4 slot is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
