The weekend has a hole in the middle of it named quarterback, a need the Cardinals walked right past. No fireworks, but a solid B.
Caldwell has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
The offense got the lion's share of the attention.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.

In Round 1, Pick 16 they get a true top target. The biggest hole, addressed.
Marcus Mbow at the 47th pick is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Barrett Carter at No. 78 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
They jumped the gun on Jamaree Caldwell, taking him earlier than his grade liked. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Andres Borregales at pick No. 153 nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. A want dressed up as a pick, at a spot they had covered.
