Call it larceny. Smael Mondon Jr. sat on the board until the 217th pick, and the Patriots did not need to be asked twice.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
