For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Cardinals walked out of the weekend still thin at quarterback, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons.
The cost of the Grant reach is exactly the players who went right after him. Job largely done: interior defensive lineman settled and 1 of 8 of the wish list covered.
Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
The verdict is a shrug for now, with the swing picks left to write the real ending.
