Some picks age like wine; Shemar Turner at Round 3, Pick 14 will need to, sitting 49 spots clear of his grade. Some smart calls, some head-scratchers, and a C+ in the wash.
The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. However the rest shakes out, Milum at that price is a win they earned. Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.
A perfectly average weekend, for better and for worse.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 16th pick they get a green-dot type in the middle, though the board says they badly overpaid. A clean fit for the roster.
Wyatt Milum slid further than he should have, and slot 47 is lovely value for the offensive lineman. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Shemar Turner at the 78th overall pick is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. A need, and now a little less of one.
