You can draft well and still miss the point. The Cardinals did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to quarterback, which was the need that mattered most. It nets out a thoroughly average C+.
The Walker reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. They left with linebacker solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.
The verdict is a shrug for now, with the swing picks left to write the real ending.
