For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Cardinals walked out of the weekend still thin at quarterback, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.
If one pick saves this weekend, it is Walker. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.

Shemar Stewart at pick No. 16 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Aireontae Ersery in pick 47 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
A quiet steal in the 78th overall pick: Deone Walker for less than the market said. The roster fit checks out.
