The Cardinals did not so much draft Kyle McCord as overpay for him, 32 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.
Getting Grant where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. The wide receiver hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Job largely done: quarterback settled and 3 of 8 of the wish list covered.
