The Seahawks did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Kamari Ramsey fell into the 96th pick. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.
They punted on wide receiver, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Moore pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
Pick-by-Pick
They paid up for Derrick Moore at pick 46 when waiting would have done the job. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Mike Washington Jr. in slot 64 is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
They barely believed it either: Kamari Ramsey still on the board at the 96th overall pick. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
A reach for Pat Coogan in No. 188; a little patience would have been rewarded. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
