Seattle Seahawks

A solid, sensible weekend for the Seahawks: B-.

Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Caden Curry at the 96th overall pick is 34 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline.

That wide receiver hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. On value alone, Trost makes the weekend a net positive.

The back end got a real overhaul.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.

Pick-by-Pick

R1.32 · Pick 32 · Colton Hood · CB · rank 25
In the Round 1 slot they get a potential shutdown corner. More want than need.
R2.32 · Pick 64 · Mike Washington Jr. · RB · rank 74
They liked Mike Washington Jr. enough to skip the value, taking him in pick No. 64. It fills a real need, too.
R3.32 · Pick 96 · Caden Curry · DE-EDGE · rank 130
This one needs a full-page explanation: Caden Curry in No. 96, miles early. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
R6.7 · Pick 188 · Keagen Trost · OT · rank 180
Keagen Trost at pick 188 is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
