The Seahawks lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again. The bottom line is a respectable B-.
If one pick saves this weekend, it is Price. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher.
Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
Pick-by-Pick
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Christen Miller in the 64th pick. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
You do not let a running back like Jadarian Price reach slot 96 and blink. They did not. The roster fit checks out.
They barely believed it either: Jalon Kilgore still on the board at pick 126. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Keagen Trost slid further than he should have, and No. 188 is lovely value for the offensive lineman. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Jadon Canady at Round 7, Pick 4 is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. Nice player, but the depth chart did not need him here.
