Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Rams spent pick No. 93 on Drew Allar, a name most had 65 spots down the list. It nets out a thoroughly average C+.
They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped safety, which is a strange place to end up.
The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
In the end, one you will need a couple of seasons to truly judge.
