B-
Pittsburgh Steelers
Good, not great, for the Steelers: B-.

2026 NFL Draft
· 12 picks
· 3 steals
· 5 reaches
It is the swing that defines the weekend: Cameron Ball in the 237th overall pick, a good 84 spots before the room expected him. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.
If one pick saves this weekend, it is Haulcy. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. They went 7 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.
A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
Pick-by-Pick
In No. 21 they get a building block for the line. Need was not the driver here.
The board had Anthony Hill Jr. higher than pick No. 53, and the linebacker fell to them anyway. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
A.J. Haulcy in pick 76 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Bryce Lance at the 85th pick is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
A market-rate wide receiver, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Ja'Kobi Lane. A need, and now a little less of one.
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Davison Igbinosun at slot 121. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Taylen Green at the 135th pick is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
A real head-scratcher, Aaron Graves in the 161st overall pick is miles ahead of his ranking. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Riley Nowakowski at slot 216 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Nick Barrett. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Travis Burke well ahead of where he belonged. Nice player, but the depth chart did not need him here.
Value said wait; Cameron Ball in pick 237 says they were not listening. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
