Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Browns came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close.

However the rest shakes out, Hunter at that price is a win they earned. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

They will need Dunker to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The Browns clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
