The Logan Taylor selection is the head-turner. The Packers reached 24 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.
That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. That Cameron pick is the receipt they will wave around later.
Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
A market-rate interior defensive lineman, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Christen Miller. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Good price on Daylen Everette in No. 84, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Jack Endries in the 120th overall pick is exactly on the number, no argument either way. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
This one needs a full-page explanation: Kaleb Elarms-Orr in pick 160, miles early. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
They read the board right and Josh Cameron was the payoff at pick No. 201. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Logan Taylor at the Round 7 slot is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Jerry Wilson at pick 255 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
