Nobody else had Dominic Zvada anywhere near Round 6, Pick 20. The Packers did, by 100 spots, and that gap is the whole story. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.
Miller at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
Pick-by-Pick
Olaivavega Ioane at pick 52 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Circle this one: Gennings Dunker at No. 84 is a fall that decides a draft. The roster fit checks out.
Christen Miller in pick No. 95 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
A top-tier cornerback at a bargain, Treydan Stukes in Round 4, Pick 20, plain and simple. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
They robbed the room for Malik Muhammad here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Seth McGowan at slot 160 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
They reached a country mile for Dominic Zvada at the 201st overall pick, and the board is aghast. Insurance at a position that did not really ask for it.
They paid up for Vinny Anthony II at the Round 7 slot when waiting would have done the job. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
