The Hykeem Williams selection is the head-turner. The Browns reached 221 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered.

The Igbinosun value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. Everything downstream of Carson Beck depends on Carson Beck, and the building knows it. Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere.

Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Bottom line, it will take a lot of luck to make this look better later.
