D+
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Buccaneers have some explaining to do: D+.

2026 NFL Draft
· 8 picks
· 2 steals
· 5 reaches
Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Jaiden Ausberry at slot 77 is 330 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. The process wobbled, and the D+ is where it lands.
The Moore pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.
A small leak at the table, if not a fatal one.
The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
Pick-by-Pick
They talked themselves into Caden Curry at No. 15, and the board did not agree. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
A real head-scratcher, Jack Endries in Round 2, Pick 14 is miles ahead of his ranking. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
They left a pile of value on the table to take Jaiden Ausberry this early at pick 77. A minor itch, scratched.
Steal is underselling it; Darrell Jackson Jr. at the Round 5 slot is a heist with the alarm still ringing. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
J'Mari Taylor at the 195th overall pick is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
A edge rusher of that caliber at the 201st pick is the definition of value, full stop. It fills a real need, too.
Denver Harris at pick No. 214 is an overdraft of the loud, memorable kind. The roster fit checks out.
Alan Herron at Round 7, Pick 13 is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
