The Panthers put a flag in the ground for Michael Harris, 270 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.
Landing Ponds that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. That offensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.
Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.

In pick No. 19 they get a No. 1 receiver, even if it was a touch early. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Keionte Scott in the 51st pick is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Value said wait; Michael Harris in the 83rd overall pick says they were not listening. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
You do not let an edge rusher like Dani Dennis-Sutton reach No. 119 and blink. They did not. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Barion Brown well ahead of where he belonged. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
