D+
Los Angeles Rams
A puzzling weekend of work from the Rams: D+.
by Jaybeast17 ·
2026 NFL Draft
· 7 picks
· 2 steals
· 4 reaches
It is the swing that defines the weekend: Patrick Payton in pick 13, a good 245 spots before the room expected him.
The Klein pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through wide receiver.
Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick 13 they get juice off the edge, a steep price for the projection. A clean fit for the roster.
A tidy bit of business in the 61st pick, where Gennings Dunker graded well above the range. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Devin Moore at the 93rd overall pick is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. A minor itch, scratched.
They robbed the room for Marlin Klein here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
They left a pile of value on the table to take Terion Stewart this early at the Round 7 slot. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
A wild overpay on Zion Nelson in No. 251, the sort that defines a class for the wrong reasons. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
A real head-scratcher, DeVonta Smith in Round 7, Pick 36 is miles ahead of his ranking. Depth on depth, at a spot that was hardly crying out.
