The Dolphins bet big and early on Riley Nowakowski, 35 picks ahead of the board. Bold does not always mean right. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. On value alone, McNeil-Warren makes the weekend a net positive.

It is not that Wheatley is a bad player; it is that the Dolphins had louder needs to answer first. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
