Nobody else had Vincent Anthony Jr. anywhere near pick No. 168. The Bills did, by 54 spots, and that gap is the whole story. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.
They punted on offensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Wallace III pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.
The roster is better shaped than it was, with linebacker chief among the fixes.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but offensive lineman.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 26th overall pick they get a go-to option on the outside. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Nice patience on Deontae Lawson, who had no business lasting to the 91st pick. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Bishop Fitzgerald at slot 126 is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
They took Kaleb Proctor at par in the Round 5 slot, which is nothing to complain about. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.

Harrison Wallace III slipping to Round 7, Pick 4 is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
