Everything else got attention, and interior defensive lineman got none. That is a strange way for the Bears to leave a draft.
Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 2 of 8 of the wish list covered. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.

In the 25th pick they get a bendy edge with upside at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
By-the-book stuff, Jake Slaughter at slot 57 squarely in line with his ranking. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
No drama and no debate, Derrick Moore went about where he belonged in the 60th overall pick. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
