This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Lee Hunter, the No. 48 name on the board, stolen at the Round 6 slot.
They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through wide receiver.
The Bengals paired the rookies with proven help, Marvin Harrison Jr. leading the way. Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
Good work on the whole, with wide receiver the one box left unchecked.

In pick No. 3 they get a two-high chess piece. Need was not the driver here.
Nice patience on Avieon Terrell, who had no business lasting to slot 32. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
The board fumbled Jermod McCoy all the way to the 41st pick, and they scooped it up. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Kenyon Sadiq at the 64th overall pick is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
They will replay Spencer Fano at Round 3, Pick 8 for years; that is how good the value is. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Kayden McDonald at No. 110 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
A top-tier offensive lineman at a bargain, Chase Bisontis in pick 189, plain and simple. A need, and now a little less of one.
They robbed the room for Lee Hunter here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Somehow Deontae Lawson was still sitting there in the 221st overall pick, and they pounced on premier linebacker value. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Connor Lew in pick No. 226 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
