The Tony Rojas pick is the one that will follow the Buccaneers into the fall. They took him 321 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. The final tally is a middling C.
That is a safety worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.
They went 3 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.
Hit on Joshua Josephs and the swing picks, and this ages a lot better than it grades today.
Pick-by-Pick
In slot 15 they get a bendy edge with upside, though the board says they badly overpaid. A clean fit for the roster.
They reached a country mile for Tony Rojas at Round 2, Pick 14, and the board is aghast. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.

They robbed the room for Michael Taaffe here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
