The Dolphins went off the board in a big way for Aamil Wagner, 47 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another.

The Wheatley pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at quarterback, edge rusher and other spots. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 4 of 8 of the wish list covered.
