Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Seahawks never addressed edge rusher, and it is the kind of gap that lingers.
Reaching for Singleton left real value on the table behind him. Miller falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick No. 32 they get an enforcer at safety. Need was not the driver here.
Nice patience on Christen Miller, who had no business lasting to the 64th pick. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
They liked Nicholas Singleton enough to skip the value, taking him in Round 3, Pick 32. The roster fit checks out.
They paid up for Pat Coogan at No. 188 when waiting would have done the job. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
