When the story of this class is written, it opens with Taylen Green at pick 149, a reach of 37 spots that the board flatly disagrees with. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.
That is a running back worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. The trades cost them a sliver of value they did not need to spend.
The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster.
