The war room fell hard for Domani Jackson, and it showed at the 135th overall pick: 44 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas.
That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Singleton falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
They were the ones paying the moving tax this weekend.
Hit on Gennings Dunker and the swing picks, and this ages a lot better than it grades today.

No edge and no loss on Davison Igbinosun in the 76th overall pick; it is a wash and a sensible one. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
They went early on Bryce Lance in the Round 3 slot, and the value did not follow. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Tacario Davis at slot 120. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
