There is reaching, and then there is Riley Mahlman at pick No. 236. The Packers jumped the board by 63 and dared it to prove them wrong. It washes out to a C+, no better and no worse.
They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
Hit on Caleb Tiernan and the swing picks, and this ages a lot better than it grades today.

A straight-up fair deal on Daylen Everette at the Round 3 slot, value and slot in agreement. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
They talked themselves into DeMonte Capehart at No. 120, and the board did not agree. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Domani Jackson at pick 160 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Robert Spears-Jennings. It adds depth where they could use a little.
A big swing on Riley Mahlman at pick No. 236, well ahead of any board in the building. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
No drama and no debate, Bryce Foster went about where he belonged in slot 255. A need, and now a little less of one.
