Nobody had Brandon Coleman this high, and it is not close. The Packers reached 41 spots to get him at pick No. 131. The board sounded every alarm, and the F is the fallout.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. The Morgan pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

The Packers clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

There is no soft landing here; this class has to massively overperform just to matter.
