Call it larceny. McKinnley Jackson sat on the board until Round 4, Pick 24, and the Cowboys did not need to be asked twice. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.
Reaching for Tagovailoa left real value on the table behind him. They will regret leaving tight end for another day if the season turns on it.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.

Keon Coleman at the 37th overall pick is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Tyler Guyton slid further than he should have, and Round 2, Pick 24 is lovely value for the offensive lineman. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Payton Wilson in the Round 3 slot is fair value, right on his grade. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Trey Benson at pick 87 is money in the bank, a running back taken below his worth. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
