Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Mason McCormick got past him. The Packers do not have to explain a thing at pick No. 126. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.

The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Jones has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
