The Brandon Coleman selection is the head-turner. The Packers reached 46 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. It lands right in the middle: a C-, no more, no less.
They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The Bishop pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback and tight end still on the board.
Beebe falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.
Hit on Graham Barton and the swing picks, and this ages a lot better than it grades today.

They liked Graham Barton enough to skip the value, taking him in the 41st pick. The roster fit checks out.
Zach Frazier at pick No. 50 is a conviction pick that outran the value. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Josh Newton in the Round 2 slot is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
A premium they did not need to pay, Malachi Corley a notch or two before his time. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
They read the board right and Cooper Beebe was the payoff at the 88th overall pick. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
